Agave is the main ingredient in tequila, support organic tequila brands that do not use chemicals like Glyphosate, Tebutiuron, Bromacil, Diuron, Acetochlor, Imazipic...Honesty – Being honest about where the agave you use to make your tequila comes from. Tequila brands should not use chemicals on the Agave they plant or in the fields they grow the Agave in. Jimadores who are in the fields all day should not have to work in agave fields filled with harmful chemicals.Transparency – We all look for transparency in what we consume. Tequila brands need to be transparent in what Chemicals are used on their Agave. Why do they use Chemicals? Chemicals can spread into waterways and drinking water during high rain storms, what Chemicals are spreading “down stream” into neighborhoods or schools.Community – At this time there are very few Certified Organic Tequila brands, but we can make changes with our purchasing power.
